we did a gig at an army bar in '96 or so...
big glittery cutain that raised as we started, fog machine, pyro, the whole nine.

looked great, but I couldn't talk for 5 days after, from all the shit I breathed in.


one of our best gigs when we still did nothing but punk stuff.
made $1200 between 3 guys.
free beer all night (after we played, only 6 to share beforehand. good idea).

it's cause it has to be kept in a place that can keep it's temperature, or freeze to it, other wise it like, reverse-melts or something crazy [img]tongue.gif[/img] (Im talkin outta my ass)

and peeker, I dunno, I can understand why dry ice fucks with yer lungs, I cant recall if it has with mine, but I dont have shows to use it at [img]wink.gif[/img] I've just experimented with it a lil, but yeah, I can imagine it fucking with lungs if inhaled enough

It's used by airlines to keep food and cargo cool during long periods of travel. I have hold it, for some seconds, but is painfull and dangerous with long exposure. You can't store it with any living creature as it will drain oxygen.

Dry ice is just frozen CO2 (Carbon Dioxide).
The reason Peeks has trouble singing after breathing it in is that it's taking up the space in the lungs that OXYGEN is supposed to use!

We used to use it quite often to test the electronics where I work. It was fun to put a jagged piece of it on a metal table and hear it "scream".
